Dr Ross Babbage served for 16 years in the Australian Public Service holding several senior positions, including Head of Strategic Analysis in the Office of National Assessments and special advisor to the Minister for Defence during the preparation of the 2009 Australian defence white paper. Ross’ Book ‘The Next Major War: Can the US and Its Allies Win Against China?’ is the focus of this podcast.
David Stilwell is the Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs. Prior to his appointment as Assistant Secretary on June 20, 2019, he served in the Air Force for 35 years. Most recently, Mr. Stilwell served as the Director of the China Strategic Focus Group in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command in Hawaii and an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the East-West Center in Honolulu.
