Private Sector Engagement
Patrick is the Founder and Principal of American Kestrel Global Strategies Group; a firm committed to cultivating lasting strategic partnerships between the U.S. public and private sector. He specializes in identifying and aligning innovative technology, services, and capital towards direct engagement and support of the U.S. national security enterprise. Of particular focus and experience are agencies and missions within the DHS and DOJ landscape.
Most recently, Patrick served as a Vice President at Business Executives for National Security
(BENS), where he headed the organization’s member intelligence and strategic engagement
efforts. A key element of this role was the planning and execution of private sector executive
delegation deployments to sites of national security significance. Across the United States and
to numerous countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America, these delegations met with
heads of state, government, defense and industry leaders – all mobilized to support our
strategic defense, economic, and diplomatic priorities around the world by leveraging the very
best of U.S. private sector expertise and innovation.
Patrick also previously worked for the National September 11th Memorial & Museum in New
York where he supported the creation and growth of the Civic Training Program initiative. This
unique programming became (and remains) a mandatory element of training curriculum for a
variety of intelligence community, military, law enforcement, and other organizations from
across the national security enterprise.
Now a resident of Washington, DC, Patrick earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the
University of South Carolina and his Masters Degree from New York University.
