Catherine M. Woods

Catherine M. Woods has served for more than 20 years in global banks, fintech, and crypto, in senior and specialist roles focusing on financial intelligence. She is currently based in Washington, DC and leads the Institute for Financial Integrity’s capacity building initiatives on cartels, Chinese money laundering networks, illicit procurement, and emerging tech such as crypto. Catherine also served in the Royal Air Force where she specialized in military-commercial partnership, innovation, and unmanned/autonomous systems. She is a 2026 Non-Resident Fellow with the Irregular Warfare Initiative and a Network of Experts member for the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime.
