Elizabeth Gallagher
Europe Liaison
Major Elizabeth Gallagher is an accomplished active-duty Combat Search and Rescue HC-130J instructor pilot, boasting extensive operational experience across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. As a seasoned senior pilot, she has amassed over 1,800 flight hours in the HC-130J, MC-130J, and C-130J aircraft. Her notable contributions include participating in major combat operations in support of Operation INHERENT RESOLVE and Operation ENDURING FREEDOM – Horn of Africa.
As a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Science in International Relations, specializing in the Middle East. Complementing her academic achievements, she holds a Master of Science in Global Leadership from Duquesne University and a Master of Military Studies from the United States Marine Corps Command and Staff College.
Currently stationed at NATO’s Headquarters Allied Air Command at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, Elizabeth continues to contribute to the success of critical missions preserving the 24/7 security of Alliance airspace. Beyond her military career, Elizabeth takes immense pride in her personal life, citing her greatest accomplishment as her marriage to her best friend, Brennan, and cherishing the role of a devoted mother to their two children, Hattie and Harper.
