Gregory Seese

Dr. Gregory Seese is a Senior Scientist at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory and a retired U.S. Army Officer with more than 25 years of military experience, specializing in the operational conduct of Psychological Operations and Civil Affairs. He has worked with the Department of State, as well as in Joint, Interagency, and multinational environments, with deployments to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iraq, and Afghanistan. His research interests include resistance and resilience, with an emphasis on nonviolent action and associated computational social science methodologies. He is committed to advancing innovative approaches to Irregular Warfare, focusing on influence and governance to address asymmetric threats and promote global stability.
