Joseph Long

Joseph Long is a retired Special Forces officer, combat veteran, Leadership and Ethics Professor, and consultant for the Department of Defense. He is a United States Military Academy graduate with a Master’s Degree in Defense Analysis and a Doctorate in Executive Leadership, and his academic research focuses on SOF interests, including partner-force leadership and ethical decision-making in complex combat conditions, with significant published work in peer-reviewed and SOF-related professional journals. His current work explores future concepts related to understanding and optimizing Information Operations across Allied and Partner populations as a function of strategic competition.
