Meg Tapia
Meg Tapia is Managing Director of Novexus, a boutique national security advisory firm and Expert Associate at the ANU National Security College. Meg is a Brookes Scholar with extensive national security experience, advising senior government officials and private entities on strengthening the information environment, diversity in national security and intelligence capability. As an Army Reservist, her work is focused on creating information advantage for Defence. She has over two decades of experience in national security and international relations, including 16 years as an Australian diplomat serving in the Pacific and Central Asia. Meg received the Australian Public Service Medal and NATO Medal for her service in Afghanistan during the 2014 Afghan Presidential election. She has an MBA specialising in leadership from Deakin University, Master of Policy Studies (International) from University of Sydney, and Bachelor of Arts (Politics and Sociology) from Macquarie University. She is a passionate diversity advocate, co-hosting the ANU NSC Women in National Security podcast and co-founding The Paragon Alliance, a networking initiative for women in Australia’s national security and cyber communities.
