Paul Kearney
Paul M. Kearney is an active-duty Army Strategist, GEN Andrew J Goodpaster Scholar, and PhD candidate at Duke University. As a scholar, Paul has studied irregular warfare, insurgency, and civil-military relations, earning degrees at the United States Military Academy, King’s College London, and Georgetown University. As an officer, he has operational experience in both Afghanistan (OEF) and Iraq (OIR) as well as experience on the Army Staff’s Center for Army Analysis as strategic wargame designer and analyst. His current research focuses on authoritarian civil-military relations, intelligence disclosure, security force assistance, and strategic competition in pre-crisis.
