Sam Rosenberg is an Army Strategist pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Policy at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in American Politics from West Point and a Master’s Degree in Security Studies from Georgetown University. His research focuses on U.S. effotrts to build foreign militaries in partner states. He commissioned in 2006 as an infantry officer and served in a variety of leadership positions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Germany, and Eastern Europe. In addition to his duties at the Irregular Warfare Initiative, Sam serves on a Minvera-funded research team studying foreign military training in Europe.
