Zachariah Parcels

Zachariah Lee Parcels is currently a Ph.D. student, Ross Fellow, and member of the Law & Conflict Lab at Purdue University’s Department of Political Science. His research focus spans a range of security topics, covering irregular warfare, proxy warfare, insurgencies, terrorist cooperation and innovation, and rebel governance. He has also coauthored a book chapter addressing the status of the “state,” areas of limited statehood, and the rule of law. Additionally, Zachariah has contributed policy-relevant articles, such as one discussing the virtues of Poland’s Territorial Defence Forces model, to E-International Relations and the Small Wars Journal.
